By booking you acknowledge that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you make a booking on behalf of other participants, you guarantee that you have the authority to accept

and do accept these Terms on behalf of the other participants in your party.
By booking or participating in a tour and any related products or services a “Booking” or “Tour” with Peruvian Guiding Tours, you  agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. The Booking Contract

To secure a booking with Peru for Less, the Client must deposit 30% of the entire price of the trip (minimum US$300). The deposit is non-refundable. Clients booking by telephone, fax or email will be deemed to have read the booking conditions.
A booking is accepted and becomes definite from the date Peru for Less has received the deposit from the Client. It is at this point that a binding contract between Peruvian Guiding Tours and the Client comes into existence.
The contract is made between Peruvian Guiding Tours, and the Client, which includes all persons named on the booking form. The person signing the booking form warrants that he/she has full authority on behalf of all the persons whose names appear thereon and confirms that all such persons are fully aware of and accept these conditions.

2. Payment of deposit

a) PAYPAL:

You can use the PayPal option from our website and follow the steps. Please note that PayPal charges a 6% tax for this transaction that is included automatically in this option. In case you decide to make the deposit directly from your account, don’t forget to add the 6% tax. You can send the deposit to this account: This email address is being protected from spambots. b) CREDIT CARD:

You can use this option from our website and follow the steps. Please note that PayPal charges a 5% tax for this transaction that is included automatically in this option.

NOTICE: The client will assume all transaction fees. Once you have made the transacción, please send us the money transfer control number (MTCN) in order to collect the money and confirm you the service.

3.Final Payment Terms

TREK Final balances must be paid in cash (US$ or Peruvian Soles) in our office in Cusco at least 48 hours before your trek.
DAY TOURS Final balances for tours must be paid in cash (US$ or Peruvian Soles) in our office in Cusco at least 24 hours before the start of your tour.
PACKAGES TOURS 50% of your total balance must be paid at least 03 weeks before the starting date. (This may be paid via Paypal or Credit Card.

NOTE:
If your arrival in Cusco has been delayed, you are responsible for informing our agents either by email or phone. If we do not receive final payment before the deadline and do not receive any message due to a delay, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation and travel plans.
The client must assume ALL transaction fees or taxes.

4.Changes by Client


The person who signs the reservation order is the only person that can make changes to the Tour/Trek/Trip/Rental/Service. A $50 change of order fee is charged to make any changes. Though all efforts will be made to make the changes requested, they are not guaranteed, and there may be additional costs about these changes.
Please note that, Machu Picchu and Inca Trail, permits are non-transferable, non-refundable, and dates can’t be changed.

5.Changes & cancellations by Peruvian Guiding Tours


We always make our best efforts to carry out tours/services according to the original schedules as listed in the reservation order. However, by entering into this agreement withPeruvian Guiding Tours, the client accepts that necessary changes may be made with any service. Due to prevailing conditions.
Peruvian Guiding Tours reserve the right to change or cancel any facilities, services and substitute a reasonable alternative of comparable value.
In the event of a significant change, the client will be notified as soon as possible. The client will have options concerning accepting the change.

6. Passport, Visa and Vaccinations


It is the responsibility of the Client to be in possession of a valid passport, visa permits, inoculations and preventative medicines as may be required by the authorities of the visited countries for the duration of the tour. Information about these matters or related items is given in good faith but without responsibility on the part of Peruvian Guiding Tours. 

7. Age, Fitness and Participation


All Clients are expected to assess that their physical fitness aligns with the requirements of the itinerary of their choosing prior to booking. Travelers with pre-existing medical conditions are advised to check with a healthcare professional before traveling on the chosen itinerary. No unaccompanied minors (those under 18 years of age) can be accepted on tours operated by Peruvian Guiding Tours, however older teenagers may be considered provided they are accompanied by a parent or guardian who accepts full responsibility for the minor. Peruvian Guiding Tours reserves the absolute right to decline a booking at their discretion. Clients agree to accept the authority and decisions of the employees of Peru for Less, tour leaders and agents, while on the tour with Peruvian Guiding Tours. If, in the opinion of such persons, the health or conduct of a Client before or after departure appears likely to endanger the safe, comfortable or happy progress of a tour, the Client may be excluded from all or part of the tour. In case of ill health Peru for Less may make such arrangements as it sees fit and recover the costs thereof from the Client.

8. Client has a Complaint


If the Client has a complaint about any of the tour arrangements, he/she must bring it to the attention of the tour leader or other representative of  Peruvian Guiding Tours at the appropriate time so that they may use their best endeavors to rectify the situation. It is only if Peruvian Guiding Tours is made aware of any problems that there will be the opportunity to put things right. Making your complaint known to Peruvian Guiding Tours as a problem arises during your trip will allow us to remedy the situation or facilitate compensation. Should the problem remain unsolved, a complaint must be made in writing to Peruvian Guiding Tours within 28 days of the completion of the holiday.

9. Our responsibility


Peruvian Guiding Tours cannot guarantee the accuracy of any hotel, resort or other leaflet which is not published by them but may be supplied as an additional service to the Client.
Peruvian Guiding Tours accepts responsibility for ensuring that the vacation which the Client books with them is supplied as described in the final version of the travel program the Client will receive upon arrival and for ensuring that the services reach a reasonable standard.
Peruvian Guiding Tours acts only in the capacity of an agent upon the legal conditions that, while exercising every possible precaution, it is not responsible for injury, illness, damage, loss, additional expenses, accidental delay, or other irregularities which may be caused either through willful or negligent acts or omissions made by the companies or individuals providing or engaged in transportation, accommodation or other services related to the accomplishment of the tour, or through natural disasters, social upheavals or other causes.

10. Insurance


It is the client’s responsibility to obtain sufficient personal travel insurance. The client is willing to accept full responsibility for insurance up to limits that the client may require. This insurance must cover personal accident, medical expenses, air ambulance, loss of effects, repatriation costs and all other expenses which might arise as a result of loss, damage, injury delay or inconvenience occurring to the client. All clients must have personal travel insurance. When obtaining travel insurance, the client must ensure that the insurer is aware of the type of travel to be undertaken.
